Top Nigerian comedians and celebrities perform at the first Abuja Music Fiesta 2016.

The Abuja Music Fiesta held on Sunday, August 7 at Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. It was powered by Hennessy, produced by Yankee Entertainment and NAIJ.com was proudly one of its sponsors.Yankee also held an audition for a talent search for musicians and dancers and they picked a winner (a musician) and awarded her N150,ooo. He said: “We are opening up the entertainment industry in the capital city of Abuja like every other business. Our aim is to ensure that Abuja becomes the hub of entertainment in Africa, hence we will be unveiling great talents at the fiesta.”

The show kicked off with a red carpet where guests and Nigerian celebrities were interviewed and showed their all showing their love and support for rising Abuja artists.

The show started with music acts and comedic performances from rising Abuja artists and then big time comedians took to the stage from Chuks d general to Kenny Blaq and eventually Osama. Other comedians included YellowMouth, Stainless and Sam and Sung. The music acts were Prokassy, Lk Kuddy, Yung6ix and Raycee.

Once Ycee went on stage, the crowd started livening up and danced to his hit singles such as Omo Alhaji and Jagaban. Kiss Daniel took after him and maintained the same energy. Reekado Banks performed and surprised the audience with an opening performance with Korede Bello. Seyi Shay surprised fans with a performance of all her hits from Murder to Right Now.
