The traditional wedding attire for Edo brides is very regal and breath-taking. Their hair is done in a hairstyle known as Weto-Okuku which involved coral beads sewn into the hair to form a crown. They also use coral beads on their necks and wrists.
On their body, they wear a beaded top known as Ewu-ivie and tie a wrapper made out of velvet or lace. Their little brides are dressed similar to them but with less beads.
